The Location Profiles available to a Venue depend on the license assigned. The possible alternatives are:
- The Location Profiles are inherited from the license assigned to the Venue (Standalone Venue)
- The Location Profiles are inherited directly from the Tenant (Managed Venue)
The Location Profiles are inherited from the license assigned to the Venue
In this case, the system populates the Venue with a set of Location profiles as defined in the license assigned to the Venue.
Each Location profile is, in fact, a separate instance as regards the Location Profiles for the Tenant: the Venue Owner may be able or not to add, modify or delete Location Profiles, depending on the license options, and these changes will not affect the Location Profiles for the Tenant. Similarly, additions, changes, and deletions performed by the Tenant will not affect the Service Profiles for the Venue.
The Location Profiles are inherited directly from the Tenant
In this case, the Venue will use the same instance of the Location Profiles available for the Tenant.
Any addition, modification or deletion of Location Profiles performed by the Tenant will be applied also to the Location Profiles for the Venue. The Venue Owner, conversely, cannot add, modify or delete Location Profiles.
