What Service Profiles will be available to a Venue that was just created?

The Service Profiles available to a Venue depend on the license assigned. The possible alternatives are:

  • The Service Profiles are inherited from the license assigned to the Venue (Standalone Venue)
  • The Service Profiles are inherited directly from the Tenant (Managed Venue)

The Service Profiles are inherited from the license assigned to the Venue

In this case, the system populates the Venue with a set of service profiles as defined in the license assigned to the Venue.

Each service profile is in fact a separate instance as regards the Service Profiles for the Tenant: the Venue Owner may be able or not to add, modify or delete Service Profiles, depending on the license options, and these changes will not affect the Service Profiles for the Tenant. Similarly additions, changes and deletions performed by the Tenant will not affect the Service Profiles for the Venue.

The Service Profiles are inherited directly from the Tenant

In this case the Venue will use the same instance of the Service Profiles available for the Tenant.
Any addition, modification or deletion of Service Profiles performed by the Tenant will be applied also on the Service Profiles for the Venue. The Venue Owner, conversely, is not able in any case to add, modify or delete Service Profiles.
