Yes, if the PIN for Foreign Users option in the Access templates section is set to Yes and the country provided by the end-user is different from that specified in the Default international call prefix option in the Access templates section, the end-user, during the first authentication on to the Splash Portal, will be required to enter an identification PIN before accessing the Internet.
The identification PIN must be obtained by physically going to the Venue Manager and will be required only for the first time accessing the Splash Portal. This allows the Venue Manager to ask the end-user for valid identification.
Alternatively, the Tenant and the Venue Manager are able to manually avoid the step for the end-user, by accessing the Users section from the quick access toolbar, searching and selecting the end-user, and finally clicking Confirm for the Unlock access with PIN option, if available. By doing this, no identification PIN will be required in the future for the selected end-user.
Even if the PIN for Foreign Users option in the Access templates section is set to No, the end-user can still directly access the service and no restrictions or additional procedures will be applied.
