The following are the most common cases where you get this error:
- if you try to load a Splash Portal behind a Hotspot that was not correctly added in the Control Panel.
If you are not connected to a WiFi Hotspot configured for Cloud4Wi and type splashportal.cloud4wi.com on your browser, then you are redirected to “cloud4wiredirect.com”. If you want to reach a Splash Portal from the Internet, please define and use a public web URL (please see Publishing the Splash Portal on the Web). - if you added the “cloud4wiredirect.com” in the Walled Garden list.
Please note that you do NOT have to enter this domain in the Walled Garden, in any case!
