Splash Portal: I’m redirected to “cloud4wiredirect.com”

The following are the most common cases where you get this error:

  1. if you try to load a Splash Portal behind a Hotspot that was not correctly added in the Control Panel.
    If you are not connected to a WiFi Hotspot configured for Cloud4Wi and type splashportal.cloud4wi.com on your browser, then you are redirected to “cloud4wiredirect.com”. If you want to reach a Splash Portal from the Internet, please define and use a public web URL (please see Publishing the Splash Portal on the Web).

  2. if you added the “cloud4wiredirect.com” in the Walled Garden list.
    Please note that you do NOT have to enter this domain in the Walled Garden, in any case!
