One-Shot Profiles for end-users

Follow
One-Shot Profiles allow the end-user to surf the Internet for a certain time, after which the Service Profile is no longer valid.

Example:
A 2 hours One-Shot Profile allows the end-user to navigate for two hours. After this time the navigation will be interrupted.

One-Shot Profiles consist of two types:
  • Expiration: in this case the end-user session inevitably expires after the expected duration for the Service Profile, starting from the moment when the end-user makes the first access. An "expiration" One-Shot Profile can be created by selecting the Expiration checkbox at the bottom of the creation form.
  • Consumption: in this case, the end-user can take advantage of the Profile Service navigation time even in different browsing sessions, also not contiguous. The system takes into account the time that actually has been consumed and allows the end-user to enjoy the remaining time in more subsequent browsing sessions. A "consumption" One-Shot Profile can be created by leaving unselected the Expiration checkbox at the bottom of the creation form.

One-Shot Profile characterization

The characterization of a One-Shot Profile requires the configuration of the following parameters:

  • Duration: indicates how long the end-user can take advantage of the service. After this time the validity of the profile is expired.
  • Expiration: if this is selected, the One-Shot Service Profile is based on "expiration", otherwise on "consumption" (please see above).

It is possible to create and edit a One-Shot Service Profile through the Internet section.
