In the default configuration of all supported devices, the UAM secret field is left empty. You still may need to specify this field in some cases.
The solution described in this article applies in general to all devices that are based on Chillispot/CoovaChilli software.
In order to send a non-empty UAM server field, you must make the following changes to the default configuration of the device:
- the UAM secret value must be equal to the NAS ID value
- the UAM server value must be: https://splashportal.cloud4wi.com/?vendor=chilliUamSecret
This means that if you are directly writing a Chillispot/CoovaChilli configuration file, you have to set parameters in the following way:
- the value of uamsecret must be equal to radiusnasid
- the value of uamserver must be https://splashportal.cloud4wi.com/?vendor=chilliUamSecret
