Purpose
This article shows how to configure a Tanaza access point, in order to use it with Cloud4Wi.
Please note that the images contained in this article may contain outdated configuration data. Therefore, please check the data contained in the article "Parameters for the Solution" at the bottom of the page, as they are certainly up to date.
Prerequisites
To correctly integrate a Tanaza access point with the Solution, it is necessary that:
- the device is connected to the Internet
- WAN and LAN interfaces are correctly configured
Secondly, you must configure one wireless interface with no encryption. The access point settings will be applied to this interface.
Accessing the access point
Please allow access to the device through the web interface at https://cloud.tanaza.com/. The configuration procedure has been performed and tested for the version 2.3.3 of the web interface.
Access point configuration
To set up the access point, access the Configure > SSID page in the web interface and then click the name of the SSID to use.
If this SSID does not exist, it is necessary to create it by clicking the Add Ssid Profile button and then compiling all the necessary fields.
Once the SSID has been selected, it is necessary to select the Wireless Security tab and configuring the section as indicated in the picture below.
IMPORTANT: Please note that NAS Id field must be left empty.
Entering the device details into the Cloud4Wi Dashboard
To integrate the access point with the Solution, you must enter its details into the Cloud4Wi Dashboard.
To have further information on how to do that, please see How to add an access point. Anyway, in the Cloud4Wi Dashboard, a field called Identifier will be required by the web interface.
For Tanaza products, it corresponds to the MAC address of the device without the ":"
Example:
If the MAC address of the device is: 08:ea:44:43:58:92, the identifier must be set as 08ea44435892.
Walled garden
In order to configure the walled garden, please check the following articles:
- Walled garden for the Social Login (websites/domains to open)
- Walled garden for PayPal feature (websites/domains to open)
Allowing free access to the CDN
As explained in the article Enabling the CDN, it is necessary to add some IP addresses to the walled garden in order to support the access to the CDN.
The domains to add for this purpose are:
- c4wstatic.cloud4wi.com
- c4wstaticjs.cloud4wi.com
Parameters for the Solution
The parameters indicated above for the Services > Hotspot page, are mandatory for the proper functioning. The necessary parameters to integrate the device with the Solution are the following:
RADIUS Server Address: 54.247.117.188 (or 79.125.111.180, as secondary RADIUS server)
RADIUS Secret: (it will be communicated by Cloud4Wi)
RADIUS Port Auth: 1812
RADIUS Port Acct: 1813
Splash Page: https://splashportal.cloud4wi.com
NAS Id: (empty)
Please note that it is necessary to enter the Splash Page URL exactly as it is written above.
If you enter the Splash Page URL in different formats (e.g. https://splashportal.cloud4wi.com/c4wportal/mysplashportal), then the redirection will fail and the end-user will not be able to see the Splash Page.
If these parameters change in the future, we will promptly inform you about new values.
