The tool allows you to create a promotional page where you can invite the user to take a call to action during the login process. This experience overcomes the problem of not being able to redirect the customer on a landing page anymore, especially on Android devices.
The Promo Page is designed to be triggered during the Access Journey, for example at the Login Attempt or Sign-Up.
When the customer clicks the call to action, the system asks confirmation of his contact (email address or phone number depending on the configuration) and the marketing opt-in if not provided already. The toll will then send a text or an email as configured in the settings of the tool.
Benefits:
- Collect real contacts: re-engage the customer with a compelling offering and ask them to confirm their contact to fulfill the action
- Boost marketing opt-ins: re-collect the marketing opt-in in case it wasn't granted on the first place
- Onboard customers on external services during WiFi access
Setup guide
Page design
The page content and design can be completely customized, and it includes:
- Top page image
- Headline (first screen)
- Text details (first screen)
- Headline (second screen)
- Text details (second screen)
- Call to action button
- Skip button
Moreover, you can customize the font and the colors of the buttons and you can add your custom CSS rules to make it even more personalized.
Call to Action
If the user clicks the "Skip" button, he will proceed with the next step of the access journey, if any, or will go online.
If he clicks the call to action button, you can decide to send a message to the user either via email or text message (you need a valid SMS Gateway to use text messages)
In the text message, you can type any text, up to the maximum allowed by your SMS gateway provider.
If you pick the email, you can choose:
- Subject
- Sender alias
and you can design your email using an easy-to-use visual composer.
Trick - Make a simple promotional page without a call to action
If you leave the label of the call to action empty, the entire call to action button will be removed from the page. In this way, you can use this tool as a simple promotional and informative page with a button to continue with the journey and go online
Confirm contacts and marketing opt-in
When the user clicks the call to action, the page shows to the user the contact point he will reach, either the phone number or email depending on the selected channel.
The user is then invited to enter or confirm his contact. If he already provided the contact info during the sign-up, the input field is pre-filled with the value previously provided by the user, but he has the chance to correct it during this step. The text of the label of the input field can be customized.
Please note that if the user changes his contact, the new value will be updated in his profile.
You can also decide to ask the user to give his opt-in to the marketing communication policy if he didn't accept it already. In this way, he will be able to receive the content.
You can decide to enable or disable the request of an opt-in and you can customize the text next to the check. Please note that if the user opts into this option, the Promotional Communication Policy field in the user profile will be updated as well.
Target Criteria
You can decide to show the page on all devices or only on certain devices OS. This can be useful for example if you use this tool to promote the download of a mobile app and you have only the mobile for a specific OS.
Multi-level management
You can decide to reserve the use of the tool for the Organization Manager only, or you can let the Location Manager use the tool and personalize their own page.
