Contacts
The product for the Locationn-aware Experiences platform is Compass. The main subscription metric of Compass is the number of active app users (Contacts) managed in the Client Cloud4Wi Account.
A Contact is considered "active" if there is at least a location event associated with his record, independently for the source of the location event, including Mobile SDK (WiFi Module) and Mobile SDK (Geo Module).
Clients can manage Contacts autonomously and remove any record that is not considered useful for his purposes. By deleting a record, the entire profile and history of visits and activity of the individual are erased from the account.
Parametric configurations allow Clients to automatically manage the classification and lifecycle of Contacts records (for example data retention, auto-delete rules based on activity history, anonymization based on a minimum collected consent).
Note: a 3-year Subscription for a bulk of 100K Contacts grants an allowance on the Account for 100K Contacts at any given time. The contacts are not cumulative year over year, the 3-year Subscription does not grant 100K X 3 contacts.
APIs
Usage of APIs is subject to our fair usage policy of 10 Objects/Month per Contact. Objects include any type of record exchanged via APIs or webhooks, including Users, Logs, Location and Access Points. API endpoints that retrieve aggregated analytics and metrics counts as a single object.
The volume of transferred objects will be monitored on a monthly basis. If Clients exceed this allowance in the previous month, they can purchase additional Overage Subscriptions to extend the overall limit of max objects/month. If they do not extend the allowance, a hard threshold on the API rate will be enforced.
If you need higher rate limits, please contact your sales representative.
