Conditional Subscriptions
We introduced the possibility to control the subscription experience from the WiFi portal based on rules and data that reside in external systems like a CRM. For example, if your WiFi visitor is already subscribed to your marketing or loyalty program, you may want to avoid presenting again a subscription prompt or maybe you want to collect only additional info.
The server-side engine that executes the rules is extremely flexible and it doesn't require changing the walled gardens of your WiFi network.
Updated Splash dashboard interface
We refreshed the Splash user interface and improved its performance. We also re-designed some sections, such as the new "Developer" page that include all the development utilities on the same page. We are also re-organizing menu navigation - stay tuned.
APIs V3 improvements
We keep adding APIs to the new V3, so you can exploit Cloud4wi data in your external business processes. We just added a new endpoint to extract WiFi connection logs in batch. This can be useful, for example, if you want to create your own external dashboard using the Customers, Hierarchy, and Connections data.
Webhooks
We added additional webhooks, including the event of email verification and phone number verification. You can rely on these new endpoints to sync your contact in real-time only upon verification of their contacts.
SDK 2.0
We completely redesigned and optimized our mobile SDK - WiFi module. Check the specs here: create.cloud4wi.com
Spaces - Returning Visitors
We improved the accuracy of the Returning Visitors KPI in Spaces dashboards. The new definition of "Returning Visitors" by default looks back to the visitors that have been seen within the previous 6 months. Despite the improvement in accuracy, we took all the measures to preserve the most conservative GDPR compliance approach on the market when it comes to WiFi analytics.
New Demo Mobile App
We published a new completely revisited demo mobile app for iOS and Android to let you test the power of Cloud4Wi mobile SDKs. More info here:
